Isn’t Christianity just a story to make us get along?

I used to think that religion and Christianity was about forcing people to be good. 'I don't need religion to be good,' I would say. And I was right. That was nonsense. I discovered that Jesus did not come to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive. That was love. Christianity was not some self help-guide. It was not a man-made theory or ideology for how to get along with others. I found that when I wiped away the fog and saw things for how they really are, then those things like 'being kind to each-other' are mere byproducts.

What Christianity gives is our meaning, our purpose. Total obvious truth. Ultimate peace. Ultimate joy. Unspeakable beauty. Hope. Life. Sanity. Clarity. Reality. The spiritual void we all yearn for is filled, and everything is illuminated.
